We aim to plan at least six months ahead for all our litters - as we believe that thoughtful planning is very important when it comes to breeding responsibly.
Our girls are paired once they're 6 months old, and no later than 12 months. We typically do not pair a girl more than once, but if we do it'll be a maximum of two litters. All our boys are over 18 months before we pair them.
As we're breeding for health and temperament first and foremost, and then a secondary focus on our markings line.
Sometimes our plans fail and we will cancel litters before they happen.
Upcoming litters
August
Agouti Variberk
Aster + Iggy
Expected colours: Black, Agouti, possibility of mink, cinnamon and BEW
Expected markings: Variberks, Berkshire, Hood and Self
This is a super exciting litter, as both rats are REALLY good variberks, so I'm excited to see what might pop up!
These babies should have cool temperaments - as both are super confident and outgoing.
Agouti Variberk
Black Variberk
Rue + Harry
Expected colours: Black, possibility of mink, cinnamon and BEW
Expected markings: Variberks, Berkshire, Hood and Self
This is an exciting litter, as both rats come from very strong markings lines. So hopefully we get some stunning variegation and maybe more blazes!
Black Blazed variberk
October
Black Splitcap
Holly + Jimmy
Expected colours: Black, Mink, BEW and PEW
Expected markings: Splitcap and hooded
This should be a cool litter as both rats originate for splitcap parents. In fact, Harrys mum was from a litter of 11 splitcaps! So hopefully we will see some cool minimal markings, to work towards breeding healthier BEWs & masks.

December
Black Splitcap
Holly + Harry
Expected colours: Black, Mink, BEW and PEW
Expected markings: Splitcaps, variberks, hoods and berkshires.
Holly is distantly related to Harry, so this will be a really fabulous litter to hopefully pull out some cool recessive genes. Fingers crossed for more blazes too.
